Alwin Thomas, 58, of Taunton rd., Tansboro, died on Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, after a brief illness. A native of VVaterford, Mr. Thomas resided in Tansboro for the past 35 years. He was a former flower grower and recently was employed by the Bridgeton Sand Co. of New Freedom. Surviving is a daughter, Miss Florence E. Thomas; three brothers, George, of Berlin; Frank, of Hammonton, and Otto, of Franklinville, and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Beu, Mrs. Martha Huff and Mrs. Minnie Saymore, all Philadelphia. Services will be at 11 a. m. Saturday in the Knight Funeral Home, Central and Rich aves, Berlin, where friends may call Friday night. Burial will be in the Brotherhood Cemetery. Williamstown.
