Last rites for George William Mobley, 81, well known retired farmer of the Griffin area, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Apostolic Church in Stewartsville by Rev. James Hassell. Burial was in Upper Hills Cemetery. Mr. Mobley died early Sunday in the Gibson County Hospital in Princeton, Surviving are the wife, Clara; sons, Elmer, William, Charles, Darrell Ray and Thomas, all of Griffin, Herman of Oakland, Calif., and Harley on Shafter Calif,; daughters, Mrs. Mabel Denby of Delano, Calif., Mrs. Annizene Winkleman of Poseyville and Mrs. Nadine Winters of Evansville; stepson and stepdaughter, Paul Staley of Cynthiana and Mrs. Mildred Brand of Bloomington; sisters, Mrs. Amanda Rose, Mrs. Maggie Haycock and Mrs. Stella Stallings of Poseyville; stepsisters, Mrs. Kate Kries of Poseyville, Mrs. Funk of Royal Center, and a stepbrother, Jess Mobley of Poseyville.
