Leona Annizene Winkleman, 90, passed away Monday June 11, 2012 at New Harmonie Healthcare, New Harmony, IN. She was born August 10, 1921 in Gibson County the daughter of George William and Clara Amy (Straw) Mobley. Annizene & Edgar T. Winkleman were married Nov. 30, 1941. She had worked as a cook for the Poseyville Nursing Home for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Melba Sue Winkleman; step-son, Bobby Winkleman; step-daughter, Peggy (Winkleman) Metz; 3 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Pauline Winkleman; brothers, Charles and Darrell Mobley; half brothers, Elmer, Herman, William Virgil (Nub), and Harley Mobley, Paul Staley; half sisters, Mary Mobley, Mabel Denby and Mildred Savage. Services were 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Mary Hurley officiating. Burial was in the Poseyville Cemetery.
