She was born December 20, 1947, in Charlotteville, the daughter of Kathleen Miller Marks and the late Wilbert Leslie Marks.
Kathy was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and a retired employee of the University of Virginia Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbert "Jack" Marks; and her one and only sister, Vickie M. Morris.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton Cosner of Troy; her mother, Kathleen "Kat" Marks of Troy; a son, Mark W. Douglas II, of Troy; a step-son, Eric "Kip" Cosner, of Troy; a step-daughter, Melanie Lohr, of Scottsville; a special niece, Tracy Lee Morris; a special nephew, G. Travis Morris, and his son, Trevor; a special cousin, Linda Quast; four step-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild, and her one and only grandson, Ryan, who she always held tight in her heart from the day that he was born. He brought her so much joy, excitement and many many laughs and almost 10 years of pure Love. He was truly the apple of her eye-who could do no wrong. Ryan was truly her best friend. She also leaves to cherish her two faithful companions, "Pepper" and "Shaker".
A special message to Kathy from Robin: " For the love that you gave my son from the day you found out I was pregnant, for that I will always be truly grateful. I love you- Robin"
Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Bybee Road Baptist Cemetery, conducted by the Reverend Doug Frazier.
