The service for John Junior Aday III, 27, 2403 15th Ave., Sheffield, was at 11 a.m. today at Nitrate City Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Christine Jenkins officiated. Burial was in Providence Cemetery, Spry Funeral Home, Sheffield, directing.
He died Sunday at his residence.
He was a native of Colbert County, a brick mason with Alabama Masonry, and a Navy veteran.
Survivors include a son, Dennis John Aday, Decatur; his mother, Mrs. Juanita Lee Rogers Aday, Sheffield; father, John Aday II, Sheffield; brother, George Richard Aday, Sheffield; sisters, Connie Elaine Aday, Johnnie Sue Martin, Shannon Aday, all of Sheffield, Linda Sparks, Brenda Aradhys, both of Decatur.
Bearers were James Hutto, Ronald Nelson, Freddie Gilchrist, Jimmy Ray South, Steve Aday, Ricky Don Aday, Raymond Aday Jr.
