Charles F. Kluenker, 86, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. T. F. Uetzmann will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Kluenker was born Oct. 20, 1880, in Halen, Province of Brunswick, Germany,
son of the late Frederick and Wilhelmina Sander Kluenker. He came to the United
States and Manitowoc Rapids in 1887, and married Miss Emma Rabenhorst June 21,
1916, at Maribel. The couple lived at Manitowoc Rapids where they farmed until
retiring.
Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Louise K. Becker and Mrs. Wilbert
(June) Hasche, a son, Karl, and a sister, Miss Minnie, of Manitowoc; 11 grand-
children and a great grandchild. Two brothers, a sister, and a great grandchild
preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Friday until Saturday noon and at the church until time of service.
