She graduated from Continental High School. She worked as a part time postal clerk in the Oakwood Post Office and later as a cook at the Oakwood School.
She was a member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and superintendent, and president of the women's society.
She was the mother of five sons and one daughter.
When her health began to fail, she moved to Chagrin Falls to be close to her daughter.

Vivian Huff Bidlack, 91, Oakwood, died at 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, in Arden Courts Assisted Living Facility, Chagrin Falls.

She was born Feb. 2, 1914, in Continental, the daughter of Archibald and Mabel (Sullivan) Huff. In 1933, she married Ansel Bidlack, who died in 1982.

The Continental High School graduate was a part-time postal clerk in the Oakwood Post Office and a cook at Oakwood schools. She was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and superintendent, Womens Society president, a member of the administrative board and vice president of the Defiance District Womens Society of Christian Service for four years.

Surviving are five sons, Richard (Christine) of St. Paris, Jerald (Ruth) of East Aurora, N.Y., Thomas (Phyllis) of Oakwood, Gregory (Velma) of Tracey, Calif., and Kirk (Carol), Grove City; a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Sandra) Cipiti, Chagrin Falls; a brother, William (Luella) Huff, Oakwood; two sisters, Mrs. Delbert (Norma) Moran of Continental and Mrs. Orville (Alice) Heilshorn, Defiance; and 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Archie Jr. and Ornis Huff; and three sisters, Gillea Knepper, Dolores Houghton and Reba Gorell.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Oakwood United Methodist Church with Revs. Mike Brown and Rita Brown officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood.
