Mrs Minnie B Kiel, 78, died at 12:50 pm yesterday at her home, 2618 John street. Mrs Kiel had been ill since fracturing her hip three years ago and her condition had been serious two weeks. Mrs Kiel was born in Huntington, but had lived in Fort Wayne for 73 years. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church and of the Zion Ladies' Aid society. Survivors include on son, Fred Kiel, Fort Wayne; three daughters, Miss Louise Kiel at home, Mrs Charles Gross of Springfield, Ill, and Mrs FC Eggers, Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Henry Pohler of Huntington. The body was removed to Scheumann funeral home. Services will be Sunday at 2 pm at the residence, Rev PL Dannenfeldt officiating. Burial will be in Concordia cemetery.
