He proudly served our country in the United Staes Airforce during W.W.II and the Korean Conflict. On April 2, 1951, Bruce married his life long wife, Evelyn Kimball Atwood in Brunswick, Maine. They came to Nevada in 1952. Bampa was very dedicated to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to fish in his spare time.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife and son-in-law, Stan Ritter. He is survived by his daughter, Pug Ritter (Lee); grandchildren, Stan B. Ritter and Lisa Pilling (Daniel)and great- grandchildren, Christopher, Shane, Brett and Emilee Rose Ritter; brother, Ted Ekker; sisters, Gladys Mays and Julia Cheskaky.
