Mr. McCreless
Hubert C. McCreless, 58, 1204 Cruise St., Corinth, Miss., died Tuesday afternoon at Kennedy Veterans Hospital, Memphis, after an extended illness.
Mr. McCreless was a native of Lawrence County, had lived in Corinth five years. He was a veteran of World War II, having serviced in the Army.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery, Spry of Sheffield directing.
The body will remain at the funeral home until the funeral hour.
He is survived by a son, Danny McCreless, Collierville, Tenn.; four daughters, Mrs. Nina Trawick, Gary, Ind., Mrs. Karen Pittman, Corinth, Mrs. Mary Kent, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Judy Borden, Tuscumbia; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Crowden, Sheffield, Mrs. Pauline Dawson, Leighton, Mrs. Maudie Holland, Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; two half sisters, Mrs. I. B. Hallmark, Moulton, Mrs. Flossie Quinn, Leighton; seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
