Leonor Guerrero Ozuna born on June 9, 1923 in Gregory, Texas went peacefully home to her Father in Heaven on June 1, 2009. She was surrounded by her children at home in Pasadena, Texas. Leonor was preceded in death by her parents Agapito and Paula Guerrero; her brother, Agapito Guerrero Jr.; her two sons, Eddie and Ruben Escobedo, and grandson Roland Ybarra. She is survived by her two brothers Mage Guerrero and his wife Alejandra from Gregory, Texas and Jesus Guerrero from Taft, Texas. She leaves behind the father of her surviving children, Jose Angel Ozuna; daughters, Vangie Grimes and her husband Joe, Elva Alvarado, Emma Coronado and her husband Steve, Elizabeth Steward and her husband Eddie; sons, Joe Ozuna, Joel Ozuna and his wife Andrea. Also left to grieve Leonor's passing are nineteen grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandson. Leonor grew up in Gregory, Texas, moving to Kerrville, Texas in 1954, Hereford, Texas in 1959 until she came to Pasadena, Texas on December 21, 1965 where she lived until her death. She dedicated her life to her husband and her children. She loved the Lord as she did her family.
Visitation will be Thursday Evening, June 4, 2009 from 5-9 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., in Pasadena, Texas.
Services for Leonor will be Friday, June 5, 2009 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Rosewood Funeral Home. Final Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
