Funeral services for Rebecca Clark Carroll will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 in Elwood Baptist Church, Forest Hill with Reverend Jason Hoychick officiating. Interment will follow in Butters Cemetery, Forest Hill under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Rebecca, 26, of Forest Hill entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. She was lifetime resident of Forest Hill and owner of Becca's Bait and Beer. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jamie Ray Clark; one niece, Beverly "BB" Clark; her paternal grandparents, Dallas and Eva Clark; her maternal grandfather, L. J. Cooper and one uncle, Jim Thompson.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Drake Anthony Carroll of Forest Hill; her parents, James and Becky Clark of Forest Hill; one brother Jeffrey Clark and his wife, Kim of Turkey Creek; one sister, Charlotte Causey and her husband, Daniel of Newton, Texas; her maternal grandmother, Mildred Cooper of Oakdale; one uncle, Buddy Cooper and his wife, Ethel of Devils Pocket, Texas; four nieces and five nephews.
Friends may call at Elwood Baptist Church, Forest Hill on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 8 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Walter Squyres, Brian Thompson, Mike Ness, Greg King, Jeffrey Clark, and Timmy Guillory. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ronnie Rollins.

Rebecca was killed by her estranged husband, a constable of Ward 4 (He was also the son of the sherriff) on her son's ninth birthday. Her husband then killed himself in her business where they were found by a customer.
