He was a member of the Mt. Jackson United Presbyterian Church and was a retired engineer from the Pennsylvania Railroad. He belonged to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.
He is survived by one son, Francis of Cleveland, a sister, Mrs. Sarah McCann of New Castle, two granddaughters (Charlotte Harding Clark and Nancy Harding Leape) and three great grandchildren (Charlene, Larry, and Gail Clark).
Preceding him in death, were a number of brothers and sisters.
Friends my call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Kildoo Funeral Home, 101 W. Madison Ave, Mahoningtown, were services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. James A. Cossin of the Westfield Presbyterian Church. Internment will be in Mt. Jackson ME (Battery B) Cemetery
