Charles Goodrich was born December 26, 1880 in Washington D.C., the only child to Edward and Lizzie Wannall Goodrich. He graduated from Central High School in Washington and in 1904 graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca New York. He was married to Caroline Greenlee February 28, 1912. They had two sons, Edward born in 1913, Howard born September 23, 1914 and an adopted daughter Patricia Ann born May 16, 1921.
Charles was a Chemist for the Department of Agriculture and lived for many years at 4313 Olgelthorpe Street in Hyattsville, Maryland. He died May 13, 1957 at home from a heart attack.
