ARIA A. GOMEZ Born February 12, 1933 in Mexico. Entered into rest September 15, 2006, she was 73. Survived by her loving husband, Adolfo G. Gomez of Fremont. Mother of Adolfo Gomez Jr. of San Diego, Manuel, Enrique, Guillermo, David, Rafael Gomez of Fremont, Bertha Ferrada of Fremont and Maria Del Rosario Leon of Clovis. Dear sister of Vicente, Jesus, Jose Aguilar of San Diego, Carlos Aguilar of Reno, Miguel Aguilar of Mexico City, Josefina Corona, Elena Miranda, Amelia Martinez of San Diego and Ofelia Vallejo of Fremont. Beloved grandmother of 17. Maria loved singing, gardening and cooking for her family. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3100 Summit St., Oakland, CA 94609. Visitation will be Monday from 4 - 8 at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd. with Vigil said at 7 p.m. Mass will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Blacow Rd. Interment will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
