Services for Mrs. Mary Pierre Waldher, 82, who died at the local hospital Friday, will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Friday at 10 a.m. The Rev. D. Brendan O'Connor will officiate with burial in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Rosary was scheduled at the Richardson chapel Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Waldher was born at Pierce, Minn., Feb. 5, 1884, the daughter of Margaret and Theodore Pierre. She attended school there and in 1901 she was married to Peter Waldher Oct. 22, 1901 at Pierce.

They came to Garfield County the year they were married, and farmed five miles south of Pomeroy until 20 years ago when they retired and moved to Pomeroy. He died Aug. 25, 1963.

She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Altar Society, and the Pleasant Grove Grange.

She is survived by three sons, Herman, Reinhard, and Francis of Pomeroy; daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Margaret) Mosman of Coeur d'Alene; Miss Louise Waldher and Mrs. Leonard (Agnes) Waldher of Pomeroy; Mrs. Weldon (Marian) Eastman of Salinas, Calif.; Miss Dorothy Waldher of San Francisco; Mrs. John (Anita) Vallandingham of Piney Point, Md.; and Mrs. Phillip (Florence) Kraemer of Richland; 32 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
