Patsy Lou Nuckolls, a longtime resident of the Henryetta area, died July 29,
2012 in Tulsa at the age of 76. Patsy was born on February 11, 1936 in Schulter,
Oklahoma to Henry Stidman and Nettie Crawford Stidman. She grew up in Schulter
and attended Schulter Public Schools. In February of 1954 she married Robert
Earl "Bob" Nuckolls in Henryetta. Patsy was a member of the New Hope Church.
Patsy is preceded in death by both her mother and her father; by six sisters and
three brothers; by her husband, "Bob" who died in July of 1988; and her two
daughters, Pamela Gail Lee and Peggy Marcel Nuckolls.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Dale Nuckolls and wife Kay of Fletcher,
Okla., and Roger Earl Nuckolls and wife Brenda of Dewar; six grandchildren,
Matthew Allen Sherrill and wife Beth of Salem, Joseph Sherrill of Salem, Steven
Nuckolls and wife Maegan of Marlow, Patricia Marcel Faulkner and husband Michael
of Henryetta, Latishia Silkwood and husband Kevin of Henryetta, and Alisha Ann
Nuckolls of Dewar; by six great grandchildren, Seth Allen Sherrill of Salem,
Joseph Robert Sherrill of Salem, Vickie Gailynn Faulkner of Henryetta, Cash Earl
Faulkner of Henryetta, Blake Robert Silkwood of Henryetta, and Dally Mae
Nuckolls of Marlow; three sisters, Betty Lynch of Schulter, Faye McGowin of
Dewar, and Susie Short of Dallas; a brother, Bobby Stidman of Kusa; by many
nieces, nephews, other extended family and many good friends.
Viewing and visitation will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Tuesday from
noon until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Gene Stidman, Randy Stidman, Mike Mahan, Ronnie
McGowin, Gary McGowin Jr., and Milfred Lee Nuckolls. Honorary pallbearers will
be the nephews of Patsy Nuckolls.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Shurden
Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Lee Nuckolls officiating. Interment will follow
immediately at Salt Creek Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral
Service of Henryetta.
