William Walker was born 1725, he married an unknown wife, and they had at least nine children: Agnes Walker, William Walker, Jr., Henry Walker, Mary Levina Bartley Walker, Sarah Walker, John Walker, George Walker, Esther Walker and James Walker.

William is interred on the land he acquired on Craigs Creek, Botetourt County, Virginia (now Craig County).

Revolutionary War, DAR ancestor #A119719.

Charlou Dolan:
There is no such person as Mary Levinia (Bartley) Walker. She is a figment of one of Bartley Snodgrass's descendant's imagination. She started out as Mary Levina (Bartley) Snodgrass, and when I proved that was impossible, someone moved her to Bartley Snodgrass's grandfather, William Walker Sr. (died 1810, Botetourt Co., Virginia). She is still nothing but a figment of someone's imagination. Anyone wanting more information on why she never existed may email me: Charlou.Baker @gmail.com.

Gravesite Details

Before fence was installed to enclose cemetery, cattle trampled the graves on a daily basis. Unfortunately, some headstones were broken, leaning, knocked/toppled over & lying on ground or propped against trees, etc.
