Well known barber in Culver. He first came to Culver about 1903 and worked for Medbourn Ice Company before becoming a barber in 1914. He worked for Harry Poor for 5 years, the Academy for 13 years, and then opened his own shop in Culver named Red's Barber Shop.

He was a member of Odd Fellows, Redmen, Knights of Pythias, and Masons.
