In the name of God, Amen, I Anne Baker of Phillipston County of Worcester & Commonwealth of Massachusetts, being aged and somewhat infirm, but of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding, considering the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof, to the end I may be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please my God to call me hence, I do make and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament ?????ing all former wills by me made.

And first I e?????end my im????? being to him who gave it, and my body to the earth, to buried with little expence or ostentation, and to my worldly estate of which I shall die seiz'd and posses'd or to which I be entitled to at my decease, I devise, bequeath, and dispose of in the manner following, to wit~

I give and bequeath to my son Charles J. Baker the sum of one dollar~

I give and bequeath to my son Jonas Baker the sum of one dollar~

I give & bequeath to my daughter Nancy Taft my Gold Knobbs~

and to my daughter Lucy Wier my Gold Necklace or Beeds~

also I give and bequeath all my wearing apparel, except a cloak formerly own'd by my sister Lucy Jackson, and all my linen to my three daughters Nancy, Lucretia & Lucy to be equally divided between them in such manner as they may agree~

I give and bequeath the cloak before mentioned to my granddaughter Nancy Baker~

I Give, devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate real, personal and mixed of which I shall be seiz'd and possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, to my son James Baker to have and to hold the same to him his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to his and their use and be???? forever~

And I do nominate and appoint my son James Baker to be the executor of this my last will and testament~

My Will is that all my just debts shall by my executor before named be first paid and the legaces named shall be by him paid and delivered within six months after my decease~

In witness whereof, I the said Anne Baker have to this my last will and testament, subscribed my name affixed my seal this twenty eighth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty four~

Signed, sealed, and declared by the said Anne Baker to be her last will and testament in presence of us, who at her request and in her presence, have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto ~
