Obit - Peter Graveline

The funeral of Peter Graveline of 350 Franklin street was held Monday morning at 8:15 o'clock from the Cummings funeral home, 82 Cliff street, followed by a requiem mass in St. Patrick's church at 9. The mass was celebrated by Rev. John J. Weldon and the music was in charge of Henry J. LaFontaine, church organist. Mrs. J. B. Marshall, who assisted with the singing, rendered Miserere at the offertory and Thy Will Be Done as a waiting hymn.

Burial took place in St. Joseph's cemetery, where the committal service was read by Rev. Fr. Weldon. The bearers were Joseph Lacourse of Mystic, George Lacourse of Groton, Edward and Joseph Morrisette, both of Hartford, and Pierre and Joseph Graveline, both of Voluntown. In the large attendance of relatives and friends were mourners from Mystic, Groton, Hartford, Voluntown, East Providence, Moosup and Plainfield. The floral forms were many and beautiful.
