She was born on June 3, 1921 In London Mills, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Hazel Brown Bhear. She married C.R. "Woody" Wilson on February 7, 1941 in Galesburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1980.
Surviving are three grandchildren, Kevin Wilson of Galesburg, Illinois, Randy Wilson of Galesburg, Illinois and Gary Wilson of New Haven, Connecticut; four great grandchildren, Connor Wilson, Craig Wilson, Todd Wilson, and Victoria Wilson and one brother, Bernard (Willadeane) Bhear of Toulon, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons: Robert L. Wilson and Gary Wilson and one daughter: Connie Wilson.
She was raised and educated in the Abingdon and London Mills, Illinois areas. She worked in the cafeteria at Knox College for 12 years then moved to Virginia in 1979 where she worked in the fabric department at Ben Franklin in Warrenton, Virginia. She moved back to the area in 1995. She helped with the Boy Scouts in Galesburg, Illinois.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg, Illinois.
