Ruby Gregory, 68, of Poteau passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, in Poteau. She was a homemaker and the director of Poteau Senior Citizens Center. Services will be Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Rock Island with burial at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be today from 1 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will visit with friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Survivors include her husband, Conrad of the home; three daughters, Terri Riley and her husband, Paul of Fort Smith, Susan Hurlocker and her fianc/, Eddy Reed of Poteau, and Kathy Osburn of Poteau; two stepsons, Dewayne Gregory of Fort Smith and Lyndell Gregory of Poteau; two stepdaughters, Tonya McKibbon of Heavener and Cathy Ritter of Howe; one brother, Leon Brown of Fort Smith; one sister, Virginia Boyette of Hot Springs; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Leon Goff, Lyndell Goff, Dewayne Gregory, Paul Riley, Eddy Reed and Keith Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
