BESSIE B. BROMLEY
Bessie Bowen Bromley, 95, of North Bennington, wife of the late Burton L. Bromley, died at Prospect Nursing Home Thursday after a long illness.
The daughter of Buffum Paris Bowen and Mary (Beers) Bowen of East Dorset, she was born Aug 21, 1882. She received her education in the East Dorset school and was graduated from Burr and Burton Seminary, class of 1902. In 1903 she moved to North Bennington where she was employed by the R.C. White Co. until her marriage to Mr. Bromley in 1905. He died in 1975.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Priscilla) Norton of North Bennington; three grandchildren, Mrs. John (Priscilla) Kennedy Jr., and Burton Worthington, both of North Bennington, and Mrs. Charles (Carol) Disque of Victor, N.Y.; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A daughter, Mrs. Edward (Pauline) Worthington, died in 1962.
A memorial service for Mrs. Bromley will be held Sunday, Nov 27, at 2 pm at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home. Interment will be in the family lot at Grandview Cemetery in North Bennington.
