Obituary.

Mr. Alfred Andrews who died in Unionville last Monday morning at the age of 53 years, was well known in this village where he spent his boyhood and early manhood. He was a rule maker by trade and worked in Chapin's and in Stephen's rule shops here, going to Riverton when the latter establishment was removed to that village. Sept. 10, 1862, he was married to Adelaide, the only child of Dea. Jason C. Keach, who with a son and two daughters, survives him. Mr. Andrews has been out of health for some months, and yet his death came unexpectedly. He was the only son of William Andrews, now living in Pleasant Valley at an advanced age and in feeble health. His funeral was attended Wednesday at Unionville, many going from here to attend. A beautiful pillow of flowers from his fellow shop men and a large bunch of calla lilies from his sisters, were placed upon the casket. The burial was at Unionville.
