PHILIP HICKMAN

Philip Hickman, 87, of School Hill, died Monday at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Untied Church of Christ, Schleswig. The Rev. Carl Fried will officiate and burial will be in the Meeme Center Cemtery.
Mr. Hickman was born Aug. 7, 1880, in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Philip and Theresa Meyer Hickman, and on May 1, 1920, married Mary Koeser of the Town of Meeme at Bethel United Church of Christ. The couple located at School Hill, where he engaged in the painting profession.
Survivors include the wife; a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Mabel) Plageman, of Rt. 1, Newton; two sons, Edward of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Arno of Rt. 1, Kiel; a sister, Mrs. Mary Kalk, of Rt. 1, Sheboygan, and nine grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church from noon until the time of services.
