2nd wife of dennis springer. d/o joseph white and martha jane weatherford. julia died at the home of her daughter mrs. wilbur thomas at the age of 82y,7m and25 d. her father was a noted Baptist minister.she joined the Methodist church at age 13. she married dennis on july 26,1866 at the age of 24 in springfield, ill. they moved to missouri the following day to the town of dade,in 1868 they moved to barton co. thier children were j. w. springer of lamar,mo., e. d. springer of richards, mo., e c springer of siloam springs,ark., j r springer of arcadia,ks., mrs rosalie tracy of nevada,mo., mrs mabel heminway co colorado springs,co, mrs mattie lewis of liberal,mo, mrs anna thomas of near hannon, mo., mrs ora belle comstock died in pittsburg, ks on may 1,1907 and loretta may who died on july 7, 1880 in early infancy. there are 28 living grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. her husband dennis 4-23-1917.
