Born to Dennis and Julia (White) Springer on December 23, 1868. Her father was the sheriff of Barton Co., MO. Rosalie met Wyatt Earp while her father was sheriff. She also resided in the jail for a period of time while her father was building their home that was called "Rose Cottage" after his daughter, Rosalie. Rosalie loved to entertain in her home, enjoyed her flower garden and loved to wear hats. Rosalie was very distinguished for her time. Rosalie died on January 27, 1968 at the age of 99 years.

Mr. and Mrs. Tracy had a sundial grave marker made with all of their children's names, dates of birth and death which is located in Newton Burial Park in Nevada (Vernon Co) MO: Darwin was born in 1891 and died in 1947; Louise (LuLu) was born in 1893 and died in 1978; Loretta Mae was born in 1894 and died in 1899; Leland was born in 1896 and died in 1935; Floyd was born in 1898 and died in 1990; Evelyn Rosalie was born in 1901 and died in 1959; Jeanette Gladys was born in 1903 and died in 1987; Jean Gertrude was born in 1903 and died in 2003; and Lois was born in 1911 and died in 2000.
