John H. Aumen
John H. Aumen died suddenly Saturday at his home, Hagerstown of a heart attack following an illness of only a few minutes, aged 70 years. He was born and reared at Littlestown, Pennsylvania, the son of John and Rebecca Motter Aumen. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Patriotic Order Sons of America. Besides his wife he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mary Sheerly, Mrs. Ruth Bikle, Mrs. Elsie Mullenix and Mrs. Catherine Ernst, all of Hagerstown; Robert W. and Roger R., Hershey, Pennsylvania; Merle H., Detroit; 13 grandchildren and these sisters: Mrs. Walter Willson, Hagerstown; Mrs. Ida Wachier, York, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Sadie Shank, Woodsboro; Mrs. Stella Myers, Emmitsburg.

Funeral services at 3PM Monday by Rev. Dr. J. Edward Harms. Interment at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
