MRS. MATHILDA SOMES DEAD

Mrs. Mathilda Somes died Friday at the Ellsworth hotel, where she had resided since last April with her son, Elmer E. Somes. She was 72 years of age and had been an invalid for the past three years, suffering from rheumatism, and a recent attack of dropsy caused her demise. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. D. Salkeld of the Christian church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A quartet rendered several selections during the service. Interment took place at Evergreen Hill cemetery. (Predeceased by Husband Henry and daughter Laura) The deceased is survived by three sons, George, Elmer and Charles Somes, all of this city, and one daughter, Mrs. Clara Johnson, in Montana.
