Cathyann (Smith) Pandolfo, 49, of Uxbridge, passed away Monday June 22, 2009. She was the loving wife of Derek J. Pandolfo, Sr. and a mother of three.

Mrs. Pandolfo was a paraprofessional at the Whitin Middle School for over eleven years. Throughout her life Cathyann touched the lives of her children, family, friends and coworkers.

She was born in Cambridge on Dec. 18, 1959. She was a graduate of Dedham High School in 1977 and received her business degree from Massachusetts Bay Community College, Wellesley.

Mr. and Mrs. Pandolfo celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on May 15, 2009.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. Cathyann always saw and brought out the best in people. She enjoyed life and maintained a caring and positive attitude at all times. She also found pleasure in traveling, camping, and babysitting. Everyone will take comfort in knowing that she lived every day of her life to the fullest.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 sons Derek J. Pandolfo, Jr. of Milford and Joseph M. Pandolfo and Jeremy E. Pandolfo both of Uxbridge; her mother Maureen (Dargan) Smith of Dedham; 2 brothers Paul Smith of Dedham and Gary Smith of Lakeland, FL; 2 sisters Barbara Centofanti of Plainville and Elizabeth Carlson of Uxbridge; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles; and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 27, 2009 at 8 AM from the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge, MA 01569 followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 9 AM in St. Mary's Church, Rte. 16, Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge.

Visiting hours will be Friday June 26, 2009 from 4 – 8 PM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given on behalf of the family to the "Cathyann Pandolfo Memorial Fund" , c/o UniBank, 91 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01757. Also welcomed are donations to Autism Speaks, 2 Park Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
