Frank Brown died after being ill for several weeks with typhoid fever at his home on Tuesday, September 13, 1932. Frank's daughter, Etta died in August 1932. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Horace Ferguson at Lusk Chapel Baptist Church on Wednesday morning. Interment followed at the Woody Cemetery. The pallbearers were Homer Reeves, Vergie Price, Floyd Askew, Campbell Askew, Eli Hipps, and John Hipps.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife and seven sons and daughters. He was of meager means but he had something more valuable and he was described as being an unusually honest and truthful man by his neighbors and friends. In his community he was considered a good and upright citizen and a respected man. ~~~~~~~~~
