Frank Leslie Newman, of Nodaway. died at a hospital in Iowa City, August 14, 1927. The body was taken to Nodaway Monday and funeral services were held at the M. E. church in Nodaway this afternoon, August 17th, at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Jesse Hubert, of Nodaway, assisted by Rev. Coleman, of Villisca, and Rev. O. R. Jones, of Nodaway. Interment was made in Nodaway cemetery.
Mr. Newman is a son of H. O. Newman, of Nodaway. He was born on the 6th of January, 1893, and was aged 34 years, 7 months and 8 days at the time of his death. Mr. Newman was injured in an auto accident August 7th. south of Villlsca and was taken to Iowa City In the hope that something might be done, but all was in vain. He leaves to mourn his untimely going his wife nnd son, Marvin, his mother and father and two sisters, Gladys Bannen and Mrs. Jessie Gray, all of Nodaway.
