Born to Arthur E. Palmquist & Grace Jewel Hinton Palmquist in Austin, Sept. 10, 1920.

Virginia was 83 when she passed away at her home in Austin, TX. Virginia was a beloved mother and caring grandmother. She was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church of Austin. Her greatest pleasure was her family and friends. Anyone who visited her home would never leave hungry or without taking home food or some small gift. She will be lovingly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Normand T. Ouellette, her sister, Hazel Marie Hanson and her brother Melvin Eugene Palmquist.
She is survived by her son Edwin Andy Crites, Jr. and wife, Joy of Austin; sister Jewell Janell Palmquist Herrin of Cedar Park, brother Arthur Palmquist and wife Mary Helen of Austin; and four grandsons and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Chapel
Interment following at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas

She was well known and loved at the Alamo Coffee House, where she was a waitress for many years.
