Peggy Przbyla (Pelagia Przbyla) was born in Posen on March 10, 1916 to the late Peter Przbyla and Josephine (Wozniak) Przybyla and married Bernard L. Kieliszewski (Kelly) on December 2, 1939 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen by Fr. Kozak. Bernard preceded her in death on November 7, 1999.
Mrs. Kieliszewski was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church since it started in 1958 and worked on many projects including: organizing the nursery with Fr. Ron Gronowski, the choir, Altar Society, Legion of Mary, cleaning committee, Daughters of Isabella, and the prayer line.
She was survived by 5 children and their families: Ralph and Janet of Sand Lake and children Bruce, Tracy and Bob Walter; Allen Kelly and Cindy Kelly of Alpena and children Lauren (Mrs. Rob) Rowling, Anne Kelly and Derik; the late Norman Kieliszewski and Marcia Kieliszewski of Ohio and children Michael and Anna Kieliszewski, Mary Ann Kieliszewski and Jerry, and Lisa Kieliszewski; Larry and Kathy Kelly of Alpena and children Meghan Kelly and Nathan and Benjamin Kelly; Lois (Mrs. Mel) Straley of Alpena and children Andrew Straley and Christine, Elizabeth Straley and Joseph; Michelle (Mrs. Dudley) Taliaferro of Alpena and children Whitney Broers and Matthew Broers; 3 great-grandchildren: Joe, Luca, Allyson; and 1 sister, Mary Goupell of Posen.
Peggy was preceded in death by her son, Norman Kieliszewski on August 12, 2004; 6 sisters and 9 brothers.
