SERVICES FOR MRS. ANDERSEN HERE SUNDAY Last rites for Mrs. Petrina Andersen, 80, who died Wednesday evening at the home of her son, Philip Andersen, in Roubaix, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Schulte chapel. Burial will be in the Roubaix cemetery. Deceased had been a resident of the Black Hills for many years and had been active until a short time before her death. She was born in Denmark on April 8, 1865 and came to the United States at the age of 18. She was married to James Andersen 62 years ago, her husband preceding her in death 29 years ago. Shortly after their arrival in Deadwood they located on a farm near Nemo, which is still in the family possession. Eight children were born to the marriage, Arthur, of Van Nuys, Calif.; Mrs. Carl Hansen, of Spearfish; James, of Spearfish; Mrs. Ben Gans, of Piedmont; Philip, of Roubaix and Clarence Andersen, of Portland, Ore. Two children, Emma and Gladys, died in infancy. Seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren, also survive. Mrs. Andersen was a good neighbor and a kind and loving mother, whose death will be of deep regret to all who knew her.
