MRS. FRANK BUCK DIES AT HOME NEAR MILLARD
Funeral Services To Be Held Wednesday Afternoon
---Mrs. Frank Buck, who lives on the P.A. Oliver farm southeast of Kirksville, died at 5 o'clock Sunday at her home, following a several months illness.
---Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Christian church in LaPlata conducted by Rev. W. M. Mundel. Burial will take place in the La Plata cemetery.
---Mrs. Buck's maiden name was Ada E. Murphy. She was the daughter of W. M. and Nancy Murphy, and was born in Macon county, Missouri, March 15, 1876. She was married to Frank Buck, Sept. 30, 1885. To this union nine children were born. The oldest daughter died several years ago. Those living are: Mrs. Pearl Slaughter, LaPlata; Mrs. Ruby Cosby, southwest of LaPlata; Mrs. Frances Salisbury, Elmer; Mrs. Blanche Scott, Millard; Mrs. Edna Cosby, South Bend, Ind.; Merle of South Bend, and George and Ernest at home.
---Besides her husband and children she leaves three sisters, and one brother. Mrs. Jessie Swarthout, Taft, Calif., Mrs. Mamie Paris, Arkansas City, Ark., Mrs. Dollie Peckham, Rainsford, Mont., and George Murphy, Ryegate, Mont. One brother, Ben Murphy died twelve years ago.
---Mrs. Buck was a member of the M. S. A.
