Cherry Stevens, a native of Latham and a resident of Mobile , died Thursday. She was 81.
She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church .
Survivors include her four children, Gussie Carter of Mobile, Willie Mae Stevens of Boston, Jacqueline King and George Stevens, both of Mobile; three sisters, Nancy Johnson, Annie Blount and Theresa Bend, all of Mobile; three brothers, Willie Ankum and James Ankum, both of Mobile and Johnny Ankum of Chicago; and 14 grand-
children.
Viewing will Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church . Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery .
Small's Mortuary on Broad Street is handling arrangements.
