SPRINGFIELD - Charles E. Trout, 81, died at 10 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born December 19, 1933, in Springfield, to Fred and Margaret Morgan Trout. He married Pauline Horrighs on May 27, 1966, and she preceded him in death on May 15, 1999.

Charles was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church. He enjoyed baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, card games such as UNO, being outdoors, and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Trout-Vogler and Helen Trout-Hunt, both of Springfield, and four grandchildren, Natashia, Niecol, and Nathan Vogler, and Cheyann Hunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Shirley.

Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Staab Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.

Funeral Mass: 10 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2015, at St. Frances Cabrini Church with Monsignor John Ossola officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
