Rites were held for Mrs. Josephine Milligan, 89, of Sage Township today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. F. E. Voller officiated and burial was in Beaverton Cemetery.
Mrs. Milligan died Sunday after an illness of five years. She was born in Ohio on Aug. 12, 1875, and had lived in Gladwin County for the past six years. She was married to Newton Milligan who preceded her in death in 1937.
Survivors include one son, Jacob Grant, of Beaverton; a daughter, Rachel Holycross, of North Lewisburg, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Gladwin County Record dated 8-4/1965
