Henry was the son of Private Samuel Glover and Miriam Clark or Clarke. Samuel was a Revolutionary Soldier.

Henry married Isabella Hutchins, who was born abt 1792 in New York. Henry and Isabella married 29 May 1823 probably in New York, probably in Washington County, New York. A second source says the couple married in Ohio. (Note: there are Hutchins burials in Washington County, New York, who are probably relatives of Isabella.)

Henry Glover was a soldier in the War of 1812. He is buried in the Armstrong Cemetery, Washington Twp., Morrow, Ohio. He is buried next to Henry Glover who died
16 Feb., 1865, age 72 years, 8 months , 26 days. They are listed in the 1850 census of Gilead, Morrow, Ohio. Much of this information came from the
book "Glover Memorials and Genealogies" by Anna Glover.

Father: Samuel Glover b: 24/25 APR 1756 in Needham, Norfolk, Massachusetts
Mother: Miriam Clarke b: 1766 in Sturbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts

Married: Isabella Hutchins b: abt 1792
Married: 29 May 1823

Henry's parents had arrived in Washington County, New York, by 1809. Mormon records have had major problems with the birth records for the family of Private Samuel Glover and Miriam Clark/Clarke. Someone listed all their children as born in Mass., but their children were born in three different states. A very old letter, written by Henry's sister, Elizabeth Dickerson (Glover) Martin, straightens out the information.

Children:
1) Samuel Glover born abt 1829 in New York
2) John Glover born abt 1833 in New York
3) Elizabeth Glover born 18 Feb 1825 in East Greenwich, NY
4) Henry Glover born 4 Feb 1831 in East Greenwich, Washington County, NY
