Henry L. Arndt, 68, 727 15th Place, NE, died Saturday (Jan 10, 1981) at home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Patterson-James-Sellergren Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Dettmer, associate pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, where military rites will be conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.
Visitation will be after noon Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
Mr. Arndt was a retired Northwestern States Portland Cement Company employee. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a lifelong resident of Mason City and a member of the VFW and Mason City Moose Lodge, 1328.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Syrus (Darlene) Berk, Rockford and Mrs. Edward (Carol) Davies, Mason City; three sons, Dennis L. Mason City; Gary, San Fernando, Calif. and Vernon, Rockford; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson; six sisters, Mrs. Delbert (Jen) Wagner, Mrs. Wilbert (Jenette) Deets, Mrs. Merle (Mervel) Carey, Mrs. Lorna Suby and Mrs. Richard (Lois) Knudtson, all of Mason City and Mrs. William (Merlene) Reed, of Louisiana; two brothers, Howard, Mason City, and Lyle of Oregon.
