Anna A. Hedding, 105, of West Bend, formerly of Fond du Lac, passed away Wednesday, May, 11, 2011, at Cedar Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center, West Bend.

Anna was born Oct. 1, 1905, in Colby, to the late Charles and Selma (nee Kindt) Fakes. She married Adolph Erdman and had five children. After residing in the Colby-Dorchester area, they moved to Hillsboro, where Adolph preceded her in death. Later she was united in marriage to Donald Hedding. They moved to Fond du Lac and became members of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Don also preceded her in death.

Anna is survived by her son, Verdayne (Helen) Erdman of Elroy; two daughters, Arlene Janecheck of Mauston and Audrey Todd of West Bend; a step-daughter, Marion (Jerry) Lynch of Delaware; a daughter-in-law, Janice Erdmann; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Raddatz of Milwaukee and Irene Uerling of Wausau; a step-sister, Helen Olson of Tennessee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; an infant son; son, Marlin Erdmann; son-in-law, Don Janecheck; stepson, Wayne (Joanne) Hedding; five brothers, Art Fakes, Walter Fakes, Raymond Albert Fakes and Gerhardt Fakes; three sisters, Josephine Young, Anita Free and Ettamay Ruge; a grandson and a granddaughter.

Funeral services in remembrance of Anna will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 579 Lake St., Hillsboro. The Rev. Conrad Prell will officiate and burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Hillsboro.
