Daughter of Seth & Eunice Elizabeth (Hopkinson) Samson, she moved to Indiana in the fall of 1816 with her parents and seven siblings. Married William Mason on May 22, 1826 in Vevay, Switzerland Co., Indiana.
To their union were born 6 children, John Franklin, Mary Ann Adams, Seth William, Olive Bennington Minnis, Joseph Greene and Nancy Jane Angleton Bearden.
