BURNETTE, Juanita Miss Juanita Burnette, age 83, of Winston, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the home of her niece, Tracy Kenyon surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 26, 1926 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Francis Emory Burnette and the late Mrs. Jesse Sisk Burnette. She retired from Bellsouth as the secretary to the comptroller after 43 years of dedicated service. She was a wonderful sister, aunt and great-aunt. Her great-nieces and great-nephews adored her as they would a grandparent. She enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Linnie Wood Andrews, Mary Callie Burnette, and Frances Edith Burnette; and brothers, Roy Wesley Burnette and Jack Otis Burnette. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Morene and Johnny Whitworth of Conyers; one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Virginia Burnette of Arlington, Texas; nieces and nephews, Rev. Neil and Pat Anderson, Joel and WeeSe Whitworth, Rhonda and Mike Barnett, Tracy and Richard Kenyon, and Greg and Johnna Burnette; several great nieces and great nephews. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM from Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Andy Gray officiating. Musical selections will be by Mr. Richard Kenyon. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Altus Hospice, 151-A N. Bay View Drive, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.
