Years ago Father talked about his uncles. Father mentioned that when Uncle George was tending an oyster bed during a storm in Yaquina Bay, Benton county, Oregon he fell into the ocean and drowned. His body was brought home and buried next to his father who had just died on Jan 17th. Since the family lived in Benton county, it seems ligical he died nearby. However, other researchers claim George R Woodruff died in Coos County. Only Father's memory is available at this time and he has since passed on.
