Clella L. Garrett, 88, of the Martha Washington community, passed away Oct. 26, 2000. Funeral services were conducted Oct. 29 at Clarkrange Chapel-Jennings Funeral Home in Jamestown, TN, with burial in Clarkrange Cemetery.
Mrs. Garrett was born Dec. 14, 1911, in Jamestown, the daughter of Sherman and Florence White.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Pat Garrett and Ray and Linda Garrett, all of Clarkrange, TN, and Willard and Mamie Garrett of Dayton, OH; daughters, Louise South of Clarkrange and Velma Hanahan of Dayton; daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Homer Norrod of Dayton; brothers, Clyde White of Dayton, and Dempsey White of Crossville; sister, Reba Nell Holmes of Crossville; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Florence White; her husband, Ernest Clayton Garrett; son, Herbert Garrett; brothers, Cordell White and Clifford White; and sisters, Ruth Wilson, Leffie Wilson and Juanita Copeland.
Clarkrange Chapel-Jennings Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
