SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR ADA L. ASHBA, 85
Funeral services were held Monday for Ada L. Ashba, 85, who died last Friday at the Riverview Manor Rest Home in Des Moines. She was a long-time resident of Russell and had been in poor health the past year.
Services were conducted from the Woodman funeral Home at Russell with the Rev. Glenn Saunders officiating. Interment was at the Russell cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Nita) Porter of Des Moines and Isabelle Ashba of Long Beach, Calif., and two sons, Martin of Juneau, Alaska, and Keith of Ojai, Calif. Several grandchildren also survive.
