Mrs. Wanda Stennett
Mrs. Wanda Stennett, 77 of Oceana, died Friday at home of a heart attack.
Born March 17, 1901 at Craney, she was a daughter of the late Matthew Ellison and Perlina Acord Gunnoe.
Mrs. Stennett was a member of the Toneda Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Wyoming County.
Survivors include her husband, O.B. Stennett of Oceana; three sons, Thomas E. Stennett, Marvin E. Stennett, and Otis D. Stennett all of Oceana; one brother, Haven Gunnoe of Beckley; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Pinson of Ravencliff and nine grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Toneda Baptist Church with the Revs. Ron Williams and Kenna Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Kennedy Cemetery at Clear Fork.
Friends may call today from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Evans and Evans Funeral Home in Oceana.
