Bailey Rites Set For Today

GLEN ROGERS, Oct. 27-- Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday for Zenna Ray Bailey, 40, of Glen Rogers, who was killed about midnight Monday in a slate fall at the Glen Rogers operation of the Raleigh - Wyoming Mining company.

The Rev. Burt Brooks will officate at the services to be held in the Glen Rogers Community Church, with burial to follow in the Cannaday Cemetery* at Clear Fork.

He was employed as a motorman.

He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Marie Bailey, of Glen Rogers, and the following children all at home, Elsie, Philmore, Genevieve, Clairece, Loretta, and Terry Lee; three sisters, Thelma Bailey, of Beckley, Mrs. Anthony** Adkins, of Clear Fork, and Miss Gladys Bailey of Clear Fork; five brothers, Garner and Ralph, of Sabine, Fleet, of Glen Rogers, Seth, of Clear Fork, and French, of Maple Meadow; and one half brother, Virgil Ellis.
